1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the thekonfz platform ("Platform") at thekonfz.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Who Can Use the Platform

You may use the Platform only if you:

  • Are at least 16 years of age.
  • Are using the Platform for lawful business or professional purposes.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
  • Are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

By creating an account you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must register an account to access most features of the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 Account Roles

  • Attendees — can browse events, RSVP, connect with other attendees, and leave reviews.
  • Organisers — can create and manage events, respond to attendee messages, and request promotional placements.
  • Admins — can moderate all content, manage users, approve or reject events, and configure platform settings.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

4. Events Listed on the Platform

4.1 Organiser Responsibility

Organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and fulfilment of events they list. thekonfz acts as a discovery and networking platform only — we are not a party to any agreement between organisers and attendees.

4.2 Approval Process

All events submitted by organisers are subject to review and approval by our admin team before being published. We reserve the right to reject or remove any event that violates these Terms or our content standards.

4.3 Prohibited Events

Events that involve illegal activity, discrimination, hate speech, adult content, or fraudulent practices are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

5. User-Generated Content

By submitting content (event descriptions, reviews, messages, profile information) to the Platform, you:

  • Confirm you have the right to submit such content.
  • Grant thekonfz a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute the content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.
  • Agree that content must be accurate, professional, and must not infringe third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation.
  • Spam, harass, or send unsolicited commercial messages to other users.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Post false or misleading reviews or event information.
  • Use the Platform in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

7. Promotions & Sponsored Placements

Organisers may request promotional placement for their events (homepage features, category spotlights, etc.). All promotion requests are reviewed and priced individually by our team. Approval of a promotion request does not guarantee any specific result in terms of attendance or registrations.

Promotional fees are agreed upon via direct communication and are non-refundable once the promotion period has begun.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, software, and trademarks on the Platform that are not user-generated are the exclusive property of thekonfz. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • Events listed are accurate, legitimate, or will take place as described.
  • Networking matches or connections will result in business outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, thekonfz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed INR 5,000 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless thekonfz and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., event ticket pages). We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or practices of third-party sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
